Thyroid Ultrasound
High-resolution imaging of the thyroid and surrounding neck structures.
Thyroid ultrasound provides detailed images of the thyroid gland in the neck. It is the most accurate way to assess thyroid nodules and changes in the size or texture of the gland, and can be performed alongside an assessment of the neck lymph nodes.
What it can help assess
- Thyroid nodules or a lump in the neck
- An enlarged thyroid (goitre)
- Monitoring known thyroid nodules
- Abnormal thyroid function tests
- Swollen neck lymph nodes
Expert imaging for a delicate area.
