MSK Ultrasound and Injections

Consultant-led musculoskeletal scans and precise ultrasound-guided injections.

MSK Ultrasound and Injections

Musculoskeletal (MSK) ultrasound examines muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints and nerves. Because ultrasound images are in real time, the joint or tendon can be assessed while it moves, often giving answers that other scans cannot.

Where treatment is appropriate, ultrasound-guided injections allow medication to be placed precisely where it is needed, improving accuracy and comfort.

What it can help assess

  • Shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand pain
  • Hip, knee, ankle and foot problems
  • Tendon injuries and tendinopathy
  • Bursitis and joint inflammation
  • Nerve entrapment, such as carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Lumps and soft-tissue swellings

Precise diagnosis and precise treatment, guided by ultrasound.
