Breast Ultrasound
Sensitive, detailed assessment of breast lumps, pain and changes.
Breast ultrasound provides detailed images of breast tissue and the lymph nodes in the armpit. It is particularly helpful for assessing a lump or area of concern, and for women with dense breast tissue.
What it can help assess
- A new breast lump or thickening
- Breast pain or tenderness
- Nipple changes or discharge
- Assessing cysts and benign lumps
- Armpit lymph nodes
Reassurance, with care and sensitivity.
